This Privacy Policy explains how Soul Mechanic Oracle ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with your use of the Soul Mechanic Oracle mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Our Privacy Approach

Soul Mechanic Oracle is designed to be privacy-first. The personal information you provide to use the App — including your name, birth date, birth time, birth location, and your journal and oracle reading history — is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain a server-side database of your account, profile, or reading history, and we do not sell your personal information.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The following information is created and stored locally on your device to make the App work. It does not leave your device except as described in Section 3:

• Profile details you enter, such as your name and preferences.

• Birth details you provide (date, time, and location of birth) used to generate astrological and oracle readings.

• Your content, including journal entries, saved readings, streaks, and progress data.

• App settings, such as notification and reminder preferences.

Because this information is stored locally, it is under your control on your device. If you delete the App, this locally stored information is removed along with it.

3. Information Used to Generate Readings

To generate your personalized readings, the App sends the relevant inputs you provide (such as your birth details and prompt information) to our third-party artificial intelligence service provider(s) so that a reading can be produced and returned to you.

• We send only what is needed to generate the requested reading.

• We do not use this process to build a persistent server-side profile of you.

• Our AI service provider(s) process this information to return your reading and in accordance with their own terms and privacy practices.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

Subscriptions are offered at $12.99 per month or $99.99 per year and are processed by Apple through your App Store account. We do not collect or store your payment card details.

To manage entitlements (for example, to know whether you have an active subscription), we use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management provider. RevenueCat and Apple process a limited, non-payment identifier and purchase status so the App can unlock premium features and support "Restore Purchases." Your use of the App Store is governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy, and your use of subscription management is subject to RevenueCat's privacy practices.

5. Diagnostic and Usage Information

The App and its platform providers (such as Apple) may process limited technical information — for example, crash logs or basic diagnostic data — to keep the App functioning and to improve reliability. This information is used for operational purposes and is handled in accordance with the applicable provider's privacy practices.

6. How We Use Information

We use information solely to:

• Provide the App's core features, including generating and displaying your readings.

• Store your journal, progress, and preferences on your device.

• Process and validate your subscription and premium access.

• Maintain, secure, and improve the App.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

7. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate the App, specifically:

• AI service provider(s) — to generate your readings from the inputs you provide.

• Apple — to process subscription purchases through the App Store.

• RevenueCat — to manage and verify subscription entitlements.

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.

8. Data Retention

Your profile, birth details, journal entries, and reading history are retained locally on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App. Information processed by our service providers (such as for generating a reading or validating a subscription) is retained by those providers in accordance with their own retention practices.

9. Your Choices and Data Deletion

Because your personal content is stored on your device, you are in control of it:

• Delete your data yourself. The App includes a self-serve Delete my data option in Settings. Using it permanently erases your locally stored data — including your profile, birth details, journal and reading history, streaks, and reminder settings — from your device and returns the App to its initial state. This action cannot be undone.

• Delete the App. Uninstalling the App removes the locally stored data associated with it.

• Manage your subscription. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. To remove data held by our subscription provider, you may also contact us.

If you would like assistance, or wish to request deletion of any information that may be held by our service providers, you can contact us using the details in Section 13.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

11. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled through the App. Because your core personal content is stored locally on your device, keeping your device secure (for example, with a passcode and up-to-date software) is an important part of protecting your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after any change indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
